Stuart Wiltshire Glass offers the finest handblown art glass creations. Hand blown glass will never be identical, only similar, as it is impossible to recreate an identical piece. Handblown glass may reveal slight imperfections, in the form of air bubbles, which have become trapped when blowing the glass, or pontil and hand tool marks, glass pattern and colour irregularities, or even a slightly asymmetrical form. These irregularities reveal that a skilled human hand produced the glassware, rather than a mass production machine.
Please remember that insubstantial variations in shape, size, colour compared to the catalogue photograph or art displayed in the studio gallery are not production defects, but are typical of the handcrafted production of Stuart Wiltshire glass.
All pre-ordered commissions are non-returnable as each creation is specially made for the individual customer. Each piece is unique and unrepeatable and no two pieces are ever identical.
BREAKAGE
Every creation travels protected securely in recycled boxes and 'Fragile' marked packaging. Receiving a broken creation is, therefore, a very rare occurrence, although it is not impossible to avoid an occasional breakage while in transit, due to the nature of the product. If you have received what appears to be a damaged package, please telephone Stuart in the first instance before unwrapping the package for further instructions. If you have unwrapped your package and found the item broken inside, please also contact Stuart Wiltshire Glass. Our contact information can be found at the top of the website.

You will need to send us the ashes once you have ordered the memorial. Full instructions can be seen here.
Once you have sent us the ashes, we will hand blown the memorial within 5-10 days of receipt of the ashes. We will then ship the memorial via tracked delivery to your designated address.
We only require a Tablespoon of ashes per order. We only use a small amount, as this produces the best visuals within the glass. Any remaining ashes are returned with your memorial.
We only use the highest quality Barium glass, which we melt ourselves here in our furnace. The glass is extremely durable, however the memorial needs to be treated with respect and care, as damage can happen, as with all glass items.
Absolutely. If you would prefer to bring the ashes into our studio in person, we are open Monday - Friday, where you will be able to watch us glassblowing the memorial. You may also be able to help and join in with the glassblowing process if you feel up for it.
