About our Golden Vortex Sculpture:

  • Handblown and sculpted in Cobalt Blue
  • Using 10 sheets of 23.5ct Gold Leaf
  • Burning the gold at 1120C
  • Leaving flaky sheets of gold
  • Gold encased in the crystal
  • Designed for the Queen Camilla
  • Height 580mm
  • Width 130mm

This is the Golden Vortex Sculpture style I designed when I made a gift for 'the now Queen', Camilla Parker Bowles, in 2017 and presented it to her at the opening of The Duchess of Cornwall Pub, on Queen Mother's Square in Poundbury, Dorchester.

Whilst also acting as an addition to the house, or providing a centrepiece which is sure to draw attention from visitors, due to its beauty and flawless outline. 

This product is handblown in our seaside studio in Weymouth, Dorset by master glass blower Stuart Wiltshire. Using a variety of precise and unique glass blowing techniques in order to produce a beautiful and detailed sculpture.

Once you place an order, we will turn on the furnace and the glory hole and begin hand blowing your product. We will have your product hand blown within 5 days and then will ship it to you ASAP.
